I had another free week to get out for some backpacking while the weather was still great. I flew to Glacier for a 3 day trip through Belly River Valley to Glen Lake, before meeting up with a photography group again. I started the trip picking up my permits, then a quick hike up to Hidden Lake. The next morning I started the 15 mile hike to Glenn Lake and Mokowanis Lake. I captured a few photos, although the light wasn't ideal yet.
The next day I hiked up past some Atsina Lake, Paiota Falls, Atsina Falls, and on to Stoney Indian Lake. The weather was perfect. I came back down to my original campsite, and experienced an amazing sunset.
The next morning was beautiful as well, followed by a long trek out. I met up with our photo group, and immediately went out for an evening shoot back at Logan pass for a very specific image. We saw a grizzly along the way.
The following day was quite busy, starting with sunrise at Swiftcurrent lake, some mid day shots, and then evening photos at Goose Island lookout.
